Curators Floor Talk - Marques and Models: Ford Motor Company and the Model T

Dates :
Times :

The third in a series of four talks by Museum Curator Matt Piper.  Matt draws upon his many years’ experience as Curator at the Museum as well as his natural and contagious enthusiasm for all things motoring related to deliver a thought provoking, fun and informative talk. Matt’s delivery style is informal and he welcomes an interactive audience.

“Production of the ‘Tin Lizzie’ began 110 years ago and during its impressive 19 year history some 15 million were made of which a relatively large number are still in existence.  Join us in taking a closer look at the car and its history, the company which made it and the interesting character of the man who created what must be one of the most famous motor cars in history: Henry Ford.”

The talks will take place around the car in the American Dream exhibition at 11.15am.
