From Friday 23rd April - 100 Years of Advertising the Motor Car

Observe how advertising changed from the static nuts and bolts of the Edwardian era to the subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) moving image advertising of today.

Monday May 3rd - Terry Grant Stunt Spectacular & Dream Car Rides

See one of Europe’s leading stunt drivers perform a great action packed show. Be amazed by the sheer brilliance of the stunts including spinning a donut whilst changing a wheel. The extreme stunt show takes driving a car to the next level with awesome car control that is truly unimaginable.

Sunday 9th May - Swedish Car Day

From the country that has the best rally drivers and the safest car in the world,
come along to see the most excellent cars at a day dedicated to Swedish marques.

Sunday 16th May - TVR Car Club Event

All TVR owners welcome , “Concours de Elegance” for TVR cars (prizes donated by the museum), club stalls selling club regalia, use of the test track, talks by Neil Garner of Performance Engineering and Mike Penn the Museum Curator. Monday 31st May - Roary the Racing Car™ and Big Chris™

Calling all Roary and Big Chris Fans! The cartoon favourites will be visiting the
museum for a family fun day. Youngsters will be able to meet the characters
appearing at intervals throughout the day.

Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th June - Xtreme Wheels Motor Show 2010

Xtreme Wheels 2010 will offer one of the finest collections of 'Xtreme vehicles' ever gathered in the UK. Dragsters, Custom Cars, Muscle Cars, Tractor Pullers, Custom and Drag Bikes, Jet Cars, Monster Trucks, Drifting Cars, Euros, Imports and many more will all be assembled for the ultimate horsepower collection at the Haynes International Motor Museum, Sparkford, Somerset. The show will include a nostalgia drag collection featuring cars not seen for many years as well as an action packed live arena featuring dragster burnouts & 'cacklefests', drifting demonstrations and much more.

Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th July - Haynes Model Motor Show

All things model car including Scalextric, radio-controlled cars, die-cast models and world-scale land speed records, 24hour races just like Le Mans but in miniature! The Sunbeam Alpine Owners Club will be holding their 33rd national rally at the museum on the 30th July and 1st August. Sunday 15th August - Monster Truck Madness & Dream Car Rides

See the enormously destructive Big Pete the biggest and meanest monster truck in Europe. Watch in amazement as this monster jumps 15ft in the air, demolishing and crushing anything in its path. An excitingly breath taking show that will guarantee to leave you with a long lasting impression!

Sunday 22nd August - Jeff Clew Memorial Run

Open to motorcycles over 25 years old, come and see hundreds of examples of
two-wheeled history starting and finishing from the museum.

Monday 30th August (Bank Holiday) - Italian Job Stunt Show & Dream Car Rides

Back by popular demand with Russ Swift performing incredible stunts.
Shows are at 11:30am and 3:00pm; entrance to the event is free with museum admission or event only entry is available: £5 for adults or £3 for children (under 16).
