Curators Floor Talk - Marques and Models: DeLorean Motor Company and the DMC-12

Dates :
Times :

The second in a series of four talks by Museum Curator Matt Piper.  Matt draws upon his many years’ experience as Curator at the Museum as well as his natural and contagious enthusiasm for all things motoring related to deliver a thought provoking, fun and informative talk.  Matt’s delivery style is informal and he welcomes an interactive audience.

“Live the Dream was the seductive slogan used to promote this car during its short lifespan in the early 1980s.  It was John Zackery DeLorean who had this dream but it quickly became a personal and financial nightmare for him.  37 years on from the launch of the DMC-12 we will take another look at the man, his business and the motor car which, rightly or wrongly, continues to capture our imaginations”.

The daily talks will take place around the car in the American Dream exhibition at 11.15.
