Time for a change? We have lots of new opportunities across the Museum!
We wanted to share Charmaine’s story as an example of how our staff are treasured, much like our Collection!
Charmaine joined us 15 years ago as a Catering Assistant. A few months in, Charmaine quickly found herself taking on new roles such as cooking, ordering stock, and helping with conference events at the Museum. The management team soon noticed Charmaine’s potential and by the end of her first year at Café 750 she was promoted to supervisor. The Museum continued to support Charmaine as she progressed in her career, all whilst raising her 3 beautiful children.
Seeing her potential, in 2019 Charmaine was offered the role of Groups and Clubs Administrator alongside being in the Café. This quickly led to Charmaine taking the next step in her career.
Now our Operations and Events Executive, Charmaine is being mentored by Amanda Wilson, our fabulously talented Operations and Events Manager.
The Museum has been part of my life for many years, and they have been a huge support to me in my professional and family life
