Having achieved a milestone birthday I needed a place to console myself thus I took a trip to this amazing establishment. The sight occupied is extensive and well planned with good car parking facilities. The reception staff and the members of management (both in the reception area and the restaurant) whom we encountered were simply superb - polite, attentive, knowledgeable, kindly, friendly and pragmatic. We (myself, my long suffering wife and my parrot) were made very welcome. The exhibition itself is meticulously planned and spotlessly clean - no chance of being contaminated by oil and the other pervasive liquids employed by motorised transport). Even a non-petrol head will enjoy the experience. The food in the restaurant is treated in a very hygenic way and is both economically priced and of more than acceptable quality. This is served in a most modern and ambient environment. I hate gift shops but the one at this establishment breaks the mould for the genre. Really unusual and attractive product ranges at affordable prices. Will I go again? You bet. The Tank Museum at Bovington could certainly learn a thing or two from the performance of this attraction.
