Please note: The children's outdoor playground, soft play and go karts will be closed until further notice. This is due to safety, as with continuing outside improvements involving scaffolding we are unable to reopen these facilities at present. Please call our Reception Team on 01963 440804 if you have any questions. However the Little Tikes, brass rubbings, Top Trumps trail and interactives around the Museum are all running.

As well as being the motoring mecca for the die hard enthusiast, the Haynes International Motor Museum also takes family fun very seriously indeed! We appreciate that entertaining a toddler requires just as much thought as entertaining a teenager!

    We know that a happy baby and toddler means happy parents and grandparents. Whether you are visiting from afar or a regular local, you can enjoy strolling around the Museum or sitting with friends drinking a coffee while your children play in safety.

    This age group is the perfect time to really start to explore, discover and experience the Museum. Your child can enjoy all of the activities listed below, as well as take part in engaging learning trails and quizzes.

    The top trumps trail allows them to head off and explore, discover and experience the Museum at their own pace in a safe environment. We also run regular guided tours and events that offer them the engagement and excitement that every teenager craves.

    You will be able to pass on your knowledge and stories of motoring past and present; whether it’s the Memory Lane exhibition, Wheels Around the World, Minis and Micros, or Great British marques.
  • South West Karting at Haynes


    Based on a large section of our private test circuit it is ideally situated adjacent to the Museum; perfect for combining a trip to the Museum with a few laps of the track!
